Vision and Mission |
Set up in 1989 with 6 employees and a USD 110,000 investment, InfoPro is now a USD 55M conglomerate, standing strong in the learning domain with more than 650 employees across centers in the US and India. Recognized in our early days as one of the 50 fastest growing privately held companies in the US, we have built and established ourselves as a major force in the learning domain.

Passionate about innovation, InfoPro was one of the first organizations in the world to set up a full-fledged IT portal, www.TeachMeIT.com, to address the needs of end users, developers, and career seekers. We launched Web-based solutions such as www.ITcrunch.com, a comprehensive IT career services portal and www.NewWebImage.com, a unique Web site development service. Over the last 8 years, this experience has enabled us to understand both design and deployment issues so that we can provide a more appropriate solution to address the personalized learning needs of our clients.
Empowering our employees with the best of tools, systems, and practices in the learning domain, we forayed into the Indian market with enterprise solutions. Recognizing the importance of employee programs, we initiated the PRIDE certification program as well as a certification program for multimedia. We also introduced a competency framework for increased productivity and alignment with organizational goals. We have successfully implemented Lean Management Practices in project management that lead to 0 schedule overruns and a 10-fold improvement in content quality.
Our experience in the learning domain was further augmented by the multi-million dollar, multi-year outsourced contract for development of CBT/ WBT titles for one of the largest learning developers in the world. Our unrelenting customer focus backed by commitment to quality, teamwork, and innovation helped us obtain large learning development business for an avionics major. This also helped us enter the pharmaceuticals, railroad, and publishing segments. Acquisition of the UK-basedSpears Group supplemented by our newly established centers in the EU further strengthened our worldwide operations.
With a sound technology foundation, we launched our first learning course kernel (xIWE) in 2005. Keeping pace with changing trends, we added (Glocalization) to our portfolio of services. Having successfully prototyped learning solutions for iPAQ/iPOD for a leading IT major, we are in the process of launching Mobile Learning (mLearning) solutions and Mobile LMS (mLMS). Our reputation as an end-to-end solutions provider once again received a boost with the launch of our TeachMeIT MS Office 2007 courses, the first comprehensive pack of 10 online courses to hit the marketplace. Our online Life Sciences Library continues to expand to meet the growing needs of health care professionals and organizations.
